I was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, as a fourth child and fourth son
(his only sister would be born two years later).  I lived in the same
house throughout elementary, junior high, and high school, as
well as most of college.  My parents still live there today.

Upon graduating from high school, I attended the University of
Utah for a year and a half before leaving to serve a mission in
Chile.  After returning from Chile, I returned to the University
of Utah to complete my undergraduate degree in Economics.

After graduating from the University of Utah, I worked for a short
time at a Utah-based insurance company as I prepared to attend
law school.  I attended law school at the University of Arizona in
Tucson graduating in 2003.  After law school, I worked for three
and a half years for a federal agency in Fort Worth, Texas.  Currently, I work for a private law firm
in downtown Nashville where I practice labor, employment, and construction law.

I have the fondest memories of my childhood.  Some of my favorite memories include: spending
Sunday nights eating popcorn and drinking milkshakes with my family as we watched the
Wonderful World of Disney movie of the week, trips to visit my grandparents on their farm in
Idaho, family road trips to New Mexico, where my dad grew up, California, Yellowstone, and
Southern Utah, playing night games with the kids on our block, playing basketball or throwing a
baseball or football around with my brothers out in our yard, and talking with my parents about the
church, politics, or life in general.

Today, I enjoy spending time with my family, sports, gardening, home remodeling and repairs,
reading, computers, traveling, camping and hiking, and politics and government.  I am an avid
University of Utah sports fan, as well as a Seattle Seahawks (football), Cincinnati Reds (baseball),
and Utah Jazz (basketball) fan.

Megan’s Thought about Drew
From the first moment I spotted Drew, I was attracted to his good looks and fun personality.  Drew
and I had an immediate connection.  We both have strong opinions and love to talk and discuss
them.

Drew is my best friend and I never get bored or tired of being around him.  Drew is incredibly kind
and compassionate and he always tries to help others.  Just recently, he helped a family (whom
he didn’t know) move all day and then went back the next morning at 5:30 a.m., before work, to
help them finish.

Drew is also very optimistic and a huge source of strength. He has great faith in his Heavenly
Father and always knows everything will work out.  He currently serves in as the Ward’s Executive
Secretary.

Drew is never scared to tackle a new project or learn a new skill.  At our prior home, he spent lots
of time researching plants and flowers to learn how to make our yard look beautiful.  He also
completed several home remodeling projects such as installing new flooring, hanging crown
molding, and refinishing the ceilings.

Drew is a very helpful husband and wonderful father.  He frequently prepares dinner and helps
out around the house.  He loves to play with Derek and Owen and takes time to read and pray
with them before they go to bed.  The best day of my life is the day Drew and I were married and I
knew that we would always be together.
